I received this speaker as a gift from my children for my birthday/Fathers Day. The speaker itself was very easy to install (made a template so we did not have to hold the speaker up to mark the holes for drilling), It was installed on a custom golf car so running the wires took about 15 minutes and had to add some wire to make it to the battery. Instructions were great and very easy to understand. Turned it on, turned it up and the whole neighborhood got to listen to Joan Jett's song "I Love Rock and Roll". Great speaker - best one that i have used in a long time in this type of application.

On My Golf Cart
I love this speaker. I purchased this a year and half ago and fire it up every weekend. I mounted it to the underside of back of my golf cart roof and while it's not as stable as I would like, it has been an acceptable place to mount it. Hope Exogear comes out with a mounting kit for golf carts that allows the speaker to attach to the metal posts that support the cart's roof. Anyway, I love this thing and am especially happy with the battery as the option for power. The battery will last for 3 rounds of golf without recharging - I really didn't want to wire it to the cart batteries. The extra $ for the battery option was well worth the money. If you'd like to be heard on the golf course (from far away), you can't go wrong with this system.
