My SOUNDEXTEME SEDS32 keeps shutting down and this is what they told me: Armando C (Grace Digital Support)

Hello Terry,
Thanks for reaching back!
Please remember in order for your SoundExtreme SoundBar to work properly, the unit requires a consistent 12V power source.
Most GAS vehicles with 12V batteries tend to experience a voltage spike that exceeds 12V when accelerating.
For this reason we recommend you confirm the battery power for your vehicle and consider installing a voltage stabilize to manage potential voltage spikes from your battery when your GAS vehicle is in use.
NOTE: please note that at approx 14V you run the risk of damaging your SoundExtreme soundbar permanently. Please also note that electrical damage is NOT covered under warranty.
There are several device options available to effectively manage voltage. Amazon and other places of purchase offer several devices such as this recommended stabilizer to effectively manage the voltage from your battery to your speaker:

and this is my reply: This level of support is very disappointing. You sell this product for a wide range of vehicles, yet you fail to inform customers of potential issues until they arise. It then becomes our responsibility as consumers, not electronic engineers, to resolve these issues or risk voiding the warranty. I followed the provided instructions to set this up, and at no point did I see the details you have now mentioned. This is extremely frustrating, especially since I live in a golf cart community. I am at a loss for words, other than to say I will be sharing my experience on my group pages to warn others about this product. This situation feels like grounds for a class action lawsuit. I am very upset and will simply dispose of your product. Nothing is worth the $500 embarrassment of explaining this purchase to anyone. It is negligent of you to not engineer the electronics in your product to handle the diverse applications you market to.
