I have attended this show for 15yrs, though I only attend every other year now.  I still get inspired and learn more each time I attend.  It was great to see one of my mentors Mark Ferrall speak again.  In my early years of attending, he inspired me to grow my business and raise the level of our service.  In my opinion, this year the seminars were more motivational than informational.  For some of us that is what we are looking for to keep us excited and moving forward with our business’s.

The expo floor I feel lacked vendors but maybe because I attend LDI and NAMM I am now used to much larger shows with more vendors.  Mobilebeat is also a great place to network with colleagues and discuss business.  It was my pleasure to hang out with Marquis of Marquis Entertainment most of the week.  He is a long time friend in the business and I always enjoy our discussions.  I met many new friends I look forward to staying in contact with over the years.  This is a must attend show for all DJs.
