The Sonora Wedding Faire has been one of the areas best events for years now, and this year proved no different. With record setting numbers of 140 brides, this was by far the biggest bridal show we have yet produced. We had over 50 vendors participate this year, and they will all testify to the joy and success of the day. Brides, grooms, bridesmaids, mother of the brides, and friends all came out on Sunday, February 22 to see what all the commotion was about.

We had amazing sponsors this year, including: Sierra Bridal, Sonora Mountain Florist, SUNsual Tanning, Sound Extreme, and Flawless Hair and Makeup. With sponsor like these, the day went on without a hitch. Flawless Hair and Makeup beautified over 20 models for the fashion show, with help from SUNsual Tanning to give them all the perfect spray tan glow, all dressed to the nines in Sierra Bridal’s best. Sierra Bridal also designed 4 mock weddings for display. The mock wedding set up was a great idea because it gave new brides and grooms a chance to look at a few options and ideas for different set-ups and themes for their wedding. It also gave those early arrivers something to look at before the doors opened to the Wedding Faire.
